Our Lady told us that if we do what she tells us many souls will be saved and there will be peace. At Fatima, Our Lady announced two special requests (July 13, 1917) to help bring this about. St. John Paul II and the bishops of the world fulfilled the first of these two special requests. However, the second and most important special request still remains to be fulfilled, namely, the First Saturdays. While the pope and bishops did their part, we the faithful need to do our part by fulfilling the four practices of the First Saturdays in reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.<\/p>\n

The Communal First Saturdays,<\/em> with imprimatur<\/em>, is the book we have been waiting for in order to help finally fulfill the Fatima plan for world peace and the salvation of souls. It is the only book of its kind that provides an order of devotion that can be scheduled in the parish. Further, the second part of the book is an extensive reference work with questions and answers, comprehensively covering aspects of the First Saturdays as well as the communal form in great detail. Of special importance, the book provides us with the theological foundation for the practice of this devotion. The Communal First Saturdays<\/em>\u00a0book is the only officially Church-approved standardized text for the public and communal form of practicing the First Saturdays in a way that fulfills all of the practices requested by Our Lady.<\/p>\n

In addition, an appendix provides a Pilgrim Virgin Statue Church to Home Visitation program with an order of devotion to be carried out after the Communal First Saturdays<\/em> Mass and meditation. The appendix also provides answers to questions about this visitation, which connects the domestic church in the home with the Holy Eucharist in the church. During this visitation, Our Lady\u2019s mission is to first establish the reign of Jesus in the home by the enthronement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Then, after the week-long visit, Our Lady completes her mission by bringing the faithful back to her Son in the Holy Eucharist.<\/p>\n

Further, another appendix provides an order of devotion for the\u00a0Communal First Saturdays<\/em>\u00a0and the Pilgrim Virgin statue visitation in nursing homes. An additional appendix provides a way for the distribution of the Brown Scapular following the reception of the Pilgrim Virgin statue in the church. Finally, two other appendices provide important information for those leading the\u00a0Communal First Saturdays\u00a0<\/em>devotion in the church or nursing home. All of this and much more can be found in this essential book for understanding, starting, and maintaining the Communal First Saturdays.<\/em><\/p>\n

The order of devotion for the\u00a0Communal First Saturdays<\/em>\u00a0in Part I of this book has been placed in a smaller sized book,\u00a0The Communal First Saturdays Devotional<\/em>, which can be passed out in parishes every First Saturday for the faithful to use and then collected (see below for more details).<\/p>\n

This book makes it easier for the faithful to fulfill all four practices of the First Saturdays Devotion requested by Our Lady in reparation to her Immaculate Heart. Further, the order of this book is arranged in such a way that in following it, the faithful can be more disposed to receive Jesus in the Holy Eucharist and can also benefit from His continued presence within themselves after Mass.<\/p>\n

The book provides a guide for Confession as well as introductory prayers before the Rosary. These prayers include the intentions, Fatima Prayers, Acts of Consecration and Reparation to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, and a special prayer to St. Joseph. These prayers support fulfilling the entire Fatima Message.<\/p>\n

The Rosary before Mass includes reflections on the Immaculate Heart of Mary along with Scripture verses before each decade; the latter recommended by St. John Paul II.<\/p>\n

Next, there are prayers to help you make a Communion of Reparation. After Mass, the faithful are encouraged to fulfill the 4th<\/sup>\u00a0practice of the First Saturdays, the separate, additional 15 minute Meditation on the Mysteries of the Rosary in Our Lady\u2019s company, in reparation to her Immaculate Heart. To facilitate this, the book includes preselected Scripture Meditations on the Mysteries of the Rosary for each month of the year to harmonize with the liturgical cycle. The meditation is done in a form of lectio divina, highly recommended by the Catechism of the Catholic Church and Pope Benedict XVI in the document \u201cVerbum Domini.\u201d<\/p>\n

As additional gifts for Our Lord and Our Lady, the book has concluding prayers, which include the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary and prayers for the Holy Father to obtain any possible indulgences. The Pilgrim Virgin Statue Church to Home Visitation devotion and Reception of the Brown Scapular devotions are also included for the services in the church.<\/p>\n

This book can be used publicly in parishes, privately in small groups, or by individuals. The content of this book was derived from the book, “The Communal First Saturdays,” which received the imprimatur.<\/p>\n
