The Pilgrim Virgin Statue Church to Home Visitation

The Pilgrim Virgin Statue Church to Home Visitation was conceived as a way in which Our Lady could reach out from the Communal First Saturdays devotion in the parish to the homes of the faithful. So, following the First Saturdays Mass, the faithful reenact the Mystery of Our Lady’s visit to Elizabeth. Using this book, anyone may follow the order of devotion, including the use of the very words of St. Luke’s Gospel. The one returning the Pilgrim statue recites Our Lady’s words and the one receiving the Pilgrim Virgin statue takes the part of Elizabeth. Following the devotion in the parish church, the Pilgrim Virgin statue is brought to the home for the one week visit, culminating in the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The location of the Enthronement provides a place where the family may gather to pray. In this way, Our Lady is able to bring the family to the Heart of her Son and bring many blessings upon the family. During the week, one has the opportunity to become more familiar with the urgent message of Our Lady of Fatima as may be found in the accompanying reading materials. On the following Saturday, Our Lady leads the family back to the morning Mass in the parish church, where they find Jesus truly present in His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. After Mass, the Pilgrim Virgin statue may be received by another family.
