The Communal First Saturdays Devotional book

The Communal First Saturdays® has a book for people to follow along in the parish and ensures that they will fulfill the First Saturdays correctly. The book is called The Communal First Saturdays Devotional (Devotional).  It is available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. It is has canonical and liturgical approval in all three languages (Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston & Diocese Leiria-Fatima, Portugal).

The book, The Communal First Saturdays Devotional (Devotional) is of key importance. It is inseparable from the Communal First Saturdays®. The Communal First Saturdays®.  itself is approved by the way of the text in the book. By following the book, the faithful are participating in the Communal First Saturdays®. in a way that is approved canonically and liturgically.

Books that are used in the church are required to conform to canon law, which this book does.

The very visibility of the book is a reminder that the devotion is approved by the Church to use in association with the Liturgy. The Devotional is Church approved to be used exactly as it is. Nothing should be added or subtracted. Otherwise, one would not be practicing something that has canonical and liturgical approval. Also, in this way, the Devotional ensures that all the practices requested by Our Lady are fulfilled.

Using the Devotional also allows the faithful to pray in union with the whole Church and in union with all of the Communal First Saturdays® being celebrated throughout the world. In this way, there is one great prayer as advocated by St. John Paul II (The Gospel of Life, n. 100).
