Celebrating 100 years of the First Saturdays with a Special Pilgrimage
This will be a pilgrimage like no other. You will learn the true heart of the Message of Fatima and what has been overlooked. You will learn to discover what was in the hearts of the 3 Fatima children (the Little Shepherds) as we walk in their footsteps. You will learn how to apply the key advice from the Angel of Fatima and Our Lady herself. You will learn shortcuts on how to become a saint. You will learn easy ways you can be instrumental in saving another person’s soul. Also in this pilgrimage, you will learn the true key to peace, not only for the world, but for your very own self and families. You will be immersed in the spiritual truth and way that will lead us all closer to the Holy Trinity. You will better understand Our Lord’s and Our Lady’s request for the spread of the First Saturdays Devotion, which they asked for 100 years ago. All of this will take place as we visit Fatima, Coimbra, Balasar, and Braga in Portugal and Santiago de Compestela, Tuy, and Pontevedra in Spain.
The Fatima story is incomplete if we do not talk about what happened in Pontevedra and Tuy, Spain. The apparitions that occurred in these two places represent some of the remaining “pieces” of the Secret that Our Lady gave to the three little children on July 13, 1917. One of these remaining pieces is the explanation and request for the First Saturdays Devotion. This year, 2025, we are celebrating the 100th Anniversary of when Our Lord and Our Lady asked for the spread of the First Saturdays on December 10, 1925 in Pontevedra, Spain. The Communal First Saturdays Apostolate is commemorating this 100 year anniversary with a very special pilgrimage that will help you learn and ask for Our Lady’s intercession directly at the very places that the Fatima and Pontevedra apparitions and locutions took place.
This October 1st to October 11th 2025 pilgrimage will be guided with the extraordinary help of Dr. Katrina Leyden, President and Co-Founder of the Communal First Saturdays Apostolate, Tim McTigue, Vice-president of the Communal First Saturdays Apostolate, and Paola Rodriguez, Fatima and the First Saturdays Study Group Coordinator. Fr. Viet Nguyen from the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston will be the chaplain.
Discover what was in the hearts of the 3 Fatima children as you walk in their footsteps!
You will also have the opportunity to raise your prayers to the Lord through very special moments of prayer and processions that will genuinely invite you to increase the love of neighbor. You will experience a memorable and unique way of the power in community prayer.
This wonderful opportunity will allow you to learn about the Fatima Message, love the message and take action on the message!
The pilgrimage will be in English. However, we will have a Spanish translator for those who speak Spanish.
The above picture was taken in the Chapel where Our Lord and Our Lady asked for the spread of the First Saturdays in Pontevedra, Spain. Joyce P. and your guides, Paola Rodriguez, Dr. Katrina Leyden and Dr. Timothy McTigue are pictured in the front. This is one of many photos we have. We look forward to sharing more!
