The Order of the Communal First Saturdays Pamphlet

Any Catholic should know that the sacraments are a means by which sanctifying grace is communicated to the soul. Yet, a basic principle in theology states that “whatever is received is received according to the mode of the receiver.” How well we are disposed will affect the degree of grace received. In constructing the Communal First Saturdays, the key question was how should we arrange and order the various practices of the First Saturdays in a communal form that would most effectively prepare the faithful to be as well disposed as possible in receiving the sacraments, especially the Communion of Reparation? In a similar way, we asked how could the faithful best benefit from the continued presence of Jesus after receiving Him in Holy Communion? While seeking to order the practices in such a way, we found that other elements in the Fatima message could also help to enhance the dispositions of those participating in the Communal First Saturdays. Let us then wisely seek a better understanding of the order of the Communal First Saturdays by our careful attention to this pamphlet.
